The DayTripper
The basic DayTripper which is only 907 grams, which is a back support attached to your canoe seat with a wide velcro strap, securing the back for a stable fitting. Includes the convenient pouch with a velcro closure behind the back support.
THE DELUXE DAYTRIPPER
The Deluxe DayTripper has a larger seat and back which also include a convenient pouch for your personal items. This offers a full seat and back and folds down while on your canoe and securely locks for portaging,
THE EXPEDITION
The Expedition was designed for those canoeists who do longer trips that include camping or overnight adventures. This chair has hidden legs under the seat that lock out to make a campfire chair. This eliminates the need to take an additional chair for your camping needs. This is also a larger seat with a back that locks closed for portaging and weighs 2 lbs so it is very light. so you can leave the chair on the canoe while portaging. Recommended for people up to 260 lbs although tested with a weight of 290 lbs.
THE PADDLE BOARD
Our newest model designed for the increasing popularity of this sport. Having the SUP seat attachment makes sitting on your paddle board more comfortable. This is certainly a bonus if you plan to spend a lot of time sitting and paddling. Situations this comes in handy are when you are going on longer paddles and if you suffer from sore feet from standing too long.

With a back injury or just the fact as we get older, back and stability issues arrive. This is what encouraged me to design and build these canoe seats.
I had a friend who was no longer able to canoe anymore due to a car accident which left her with a lower back problem. She found that my seats offered her the support for her back she needed and allowed her to get back into her canoe and paddle after 10 years of her missing out.
EACH CANOE SEAT IS HAND CRAFTED AND ASSEMBLED BY ME
These canoe seats are made of all wood and I use 3 coats of marine grade Varathane to protect the wood for years to come. I added a secure compartment for your personal belongings at the back of the chair made of UV and marine grade material which is water resistant. Even the thread used in sewing the compartment is marine grade and UV rated. Everything will stay within this compartment for portaging or if there is a capsize as this compartment is securely closed with a Velcro closure for easy opening and closing. THE MORE EXPENSIVE CANOE SEATS ON THE MARKET DO NOT OFFER THIS FEATURE.
In conclusion, this seat offers solid support for your back, stability, flexibility, is lightweight and is the only chair offering a convenient compartment for storage which is quickly and easily installed on your canoe seat using wide UV rated Velcro straps. The installation takes only a few minutes. Also I added a strap with a closure to keep the chair in a closed position during a portage or during storage so there is no need to remove it once installed.

The wide two sided Velcro straps allow quick installation on to with your cape or paddle board. Usually it will take less than 5 minutes to put the seat on or on.

My friend purchased one of these seats at the Frontenac Outfitters store last June. A group of us do long distance paddling adventures so I tried it. It was amazingly comfortable, lightweight and easy to assemble. I was so pleased when she had a booth at the Belleville RV and Boat show in March and picked up my own seat. I can’t wait to use it this summer.
